With an emotional depth and sophistication that belies his 21 years, UK/AUS singer-songwriter Charlie Gradon already has a wealth of songwriting and performance experience behind him.

Emigrating from the UK at the age of 12, Charlie now spends his time between the two, gracing audiences everywhere with his unique brand of writing and stage presence.

With a focus on storytelling, Charlie's raw blend of folk and blues is delivered with an infectious energy and heartbreaking earnestness. A performer not to be missed.

Charlie played at the prestigious Peats Ridge Music Festival in 2012.

Jan Preston’s stunning ability as a boogie woogie and ragtime piano player is matched by a richly resonant voice and a joyful and communicative personality, which leaves audiences mesmerized.

Winner of 7 Music Awards, Jan plays festivals and concerts throughout NZ, Australia, the UK, Europe and China, tours her own shows and writes music for films and television, such as the theme to Australian Story.

Known as Australia’s foremost Boogie Piano player and composer, Jan was enormously popular as a guest performer on ABC TV’s Spicks and Specks.

She has been described in the press as ‘an inspirational and gifted pianist, performer and entertainer with grace, unbelievable dexterity, warmth and poignancy…..a remarkable evening that touched us all and will not soon be forgotten.’

Peña Flamenca is a fresh and modern Flamenco Nuevo ensemble, capturing flavours of Latin, Spanish and Argentinean traditions with an Aussie twist.

Following a successful 18 month residency of weekly performances at Sydney’s Spanish Club, the group discovered a shared drive for creating flamenco frenzied dance floors and have amazed audiences around Sydney at venues including The Vanguard, Camelot Lounge and cruise events on Sydney Harbour. They now perform every Thursday evening at RoHoToMs Cafe Restaurant & Bar in Darlinghurst.

Led by flamenco guitarist Christopher Duff the group includes Angela Rosero (voice), Chachy Peñalver (dance), Byron Mark (percussion), Tom Burns Brown (bass) Keyna Wilkins (flute), and Trevor Brown (saxophones). Many of the members have studied in Spain and with some of the best teachers in Australia, and together they released a self-titled EP in May 2012.

The multitude of musical backgrounds of the group and culmination of relaxed attitudes breathes some fresh air into the world of Flamenco; Peña combine to make a unique Australian fiesta.

Members have performed around the country with Flamenco Australia.
