Allan has been awarded 7 Golden Guitars. As a songwriter he has received 2 gold single awards, an ARIA, an APRA and 9 Southern Star Awards, including 3 times Album Of The Year. He also has been awarded 1 platinum and 3 gold records for his writing and production work on a series of children's albums featuring Don Spencer.

The icing on the cake came in 2018 when he was inducted into the Galaxy of Stars roll joining luminairies like Slim Dusty, John Williamson & Chad Morgan.

In 2016 when Allan Caswell won his seventh Golden guitar in Tamworth, it marked 36 years since his first Golden Guitar. In the years in between Allan has experienced the highs and lows of a very successful and hugely varied career …His song “On the Inside” (the theme for the television “Prisoner”) reached No.1 in Australia and New Zealand, No.3 in England and made the Country Charts in the USA (his own version was a top 20 country hit in Europe in 2004)

At last count, Caswell has had well over 900 songs published and over 500 recordings of his songs released world wide by artists of the calibre of Cilla Black, The Irish Rovers, Patti Page, Slim Dusty, James Blundell and The Living End.

Allan Caswell’s career as an entertainer has taken him to almost every town in NSW, every state in Australia, to New York, LA, Nashville, New Zealand, East Timor, Iraq and Afghanistan. He has worked live with Garth Brooks, Don McLean, Gerry and the Pacemakers, Herman’s Hermits, Pam Ayers and The Little River Band, Brian Cadd and Billy Thorpe and in the studio with Tommy Emmanuel, Vince Gill, Kathy Mattea and Highway 101.

At the height of The America’s Cup hysteria when Australia 2 was in trouble, Caswell wrote and released “The Australia’s Cup”. The record, recorded for $38 and released independently, went to No.1 in Sydney and top 5 nationally.

“I’m proud to say that he is, in my opinion, one of the most gifted singer/songwriters this country has ever produced …”“Allan Caswell is a talent that all Australia deserves to hear whether he is singing or speaking …”    (Alan Jones)
“Having seen Allan’s work for Souths, I can promise he will write you a song to stir your heart, soul and, if need be, loins”  (Andrew Denton)
“With his skills as a performer and his unique ability as a songwriter, Allan really sets the mood for an evening – Book him now!”   (Max Markson)

Deep in a forgotten nook within the valleys of Silicon a team of mad technological scientists worked furiously. They had been there longer than anyone could remember, but most of the time they weren't remembered at all, for they never left their nook. Their work kept them looking young but they were old, old and wise, and very knowledgeable in their field. What were they working on, you ask?! Well… let me tell you.

They were working on the pleasures of human aural perception. More specifically, what exact sounds trigger the most beneficial release of dopamine in the human brain and provide any human from any land with a feeling of complete and utter joy. Obviously this is a huge undertaking, but we are lucky, us humans alive today, as these crazed scientists finally finished their workings in 2012. The answer was this: AU((V(a+b)/G²) + (S(V-1)/DB)) = euphoria! This sent the worlds of maths and physics abuzz, but to the lay man it is difficult to understand. It essentially says that the most rewarding combination of sounds to listen to is: the human voice, 2 guitars (one of which must be acoustic), a single violin, saxophone and double bass. Whats more is that the players must be of Australian birth. Its a phenomenal discovery that has been put to the test and proven true by numerous powerful organisations. No one quite knows how they came up with the equation and unfortunately they all died the day after they completed their task, so their workings may never be rediscovered.

Anyway, a phone call was traced from the crazed scientist's Silicon Valley nook the day they completed their task. It was traced to Sydney, Australia, to a young musical couples house. Since that day, the couple, Morgan and Phoebe, who are normally a masterful, classically trained, gypsy jazz playing duo who gig all over the world, have been playing music with 3 additional players. Louis Klaasson on the Sax, Josh Meader on the guitar and Paul Meader on the double bass, all of whom are exceptionally talented and who have played near and far with numerous other groups. They would all hope that you enjoy their performance, but really there is no need to hope, it scientifically proven that you will.
