Mt. Borradaile - Arnhemland - Northern Territory

Davidson's Arnhemland Safaris commenced operations in 1986 after successfully negotiating an exclusive leased to 700 square kilometers of pristine wilderness in north-west Arnhemland with the traditional Aboriginal owners of the area.

Max & Philippa Davidson have built an enviable reputation for high quality Safari Tours, both on their Arnhemland concession and in other parts of Australia's Northern Territory.

Davidson's Arnhemland Safaris represents the ultimate in exclusive wilderness expeditions, with experienced guides escorting visitors through a series of educative adventures.

Entry to one of the most restricted areas of Australia is by permit only, arranged prior to your arrival with the traditional Aboriginal custodians. Access to the safari camp is via a 60 minute, breathtaking flight from Darwin to Mt Borradaile or a 20 minute flight or 2 hours 4 Wheel Drive ride, from Jabiru.

In bushland just below the Safari's private airstrip, visitors arriving by air or land are welcomed to the comfortable, well appointed base camp.

Twin-share, airy tents each equipped with beds, 240 volt power outlets and external lighting are spaced in a wide semi circle around the social hub, a complex that incorporates briefing room, library, kitchen, dining areas and all amenities.

This area of Arnhemland is a veritable treasure house of flora and fauna, many of its species are found nowhere else on earth. The rich surrounds also feature several different Eco Systems.
