The WFM does not cost council/rate payers. Money raised from stall holders pays for the running of the event including a budget for the music. The Manly Fig is non-profit, and volunteer their time and sound gear to help build community and support live music. Initially, to help launch the WFM, artists and soundie donated their time/played for nothing or for very little. Thank you.
