This act features the hypnotically resonant voice of Rory Ellis, in turn playing all things acoustic, joined onstage by harmonica master Christian Marsh.
Together they perform stripped down, gutsy versions of songs from Rory’s last 10 albums.
Thirty odd years in the making, Rory has performed extensively at major venues and festivals here and abroad alongside greats such as Robert Cray, Richie Havens, Charlie Mussellwhite, Eric Bibb, even Pokey La Farge. Christian is a world renowned master of the Chromatic and Diatonic Harmonica having won “Gold Harmonica Awards in Tamworth 3 times worked alongside harmonica giants such as Howard Levy, Larry Adler, Toots Theilemans and featured on many profile Australian and International artists albums and stages.
Most recently Rory and Christian performed at Cygnet Folk Festival 2024 Thredbo Blues Festival 2023, Blue Mountains Music Festival 2022, Bells Line Festival 2022 and Thredbo Blues Festival 2022 and the huge Broadbeach Blues Festival in May 2024.

Jo Elms is a singer, songwriter whose dynamic acoustic style blends together her love of jazz and soul music with her Celtic heritage. She’s won awards for her original compositions in the 25th Australian National Songwriting Contest and the Musicoz awards and has given electric performances at The Manly International Jazz Festival, The Darling Harbour Jazz and Blues Festival, The Norfolk Island Jazz Festival, The New Zealand International Jazz and Blues Festival and the Java Jazz Festival held in Jakarta Indonesia alongside Chaka Khan, Jamie Cullum and Level 42. Her band members are the outstanding Bill Risby (piano) and Victor Rounds (bass).
