Australian blues artist Simon Kinny-Lewis has performed & recorded with the cream of the blues crop including Robben Ford, Chris Cain, Andy Just (BB King, Buddy Guy) Nate Ginsberg (Herbie Hancock) and many more. Not only recognised as a virtuoso guitarist but also as an impressive singer & songwriter, Simon’s approach has been described as a musical intersection in which tradition, modern flair and personal style are enriched by pure emotional release. His band features Tony Boyd (drums) and Rob Ewan (bass). Simon has just released his seventh album entitled “Another Day in San Jose”, recorded at Reed’s in San Jose during his 2020 California tour. The album features Blues legend Robben Ford (Miles Davis, George Harrison) performing on Simon’s new “Dagger Eyes “. George Sich is an award winning country/blues style songwriter and guitarist based in Sydney. He has been compared to John Williamson, Vince Gill, even Tommy Emmanuel. George’s strong acoustic fingerstyle
skills are often in demand to back other artists.
George has released three studio albums; “True Story, I Swear”, “Spade” and “You & Me & this Old Guitar”.
From 2010 George was in demand as a jingle producer for various east coast radio stations, and is well known for his satirical pieces for the late Grant Goldman’s breakfast show on 2SM and the Super Radio Network across the eastern states.
In 2014 George and his band “The Foxin’ Hounds” won ABC702’s Exhumed competition which led to more radio appearances including a spot on Richard Glover’s TGIF, and a support for the iconic band “Dragon”.
During the Covid lockdowns George, together with Barry Leef and Peter Northcote started the “Cookin’ with Baz” YouTube channel, now with over 26,000 subscribers and over six million views globally.
George continues to play the pub, club and corporate circuit, either as a solo performer or as part of the “Mastop & Sich” country rock duo or in band mode as “DOUBLE XXL” band.
