Phil Davidson

Jesse Redwing has honed his chops in smoky juke joints all over the world for damn near two decades now. He recently represented Sydney at the 2024 International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN where he advanced to the semifinals. On top of touring Europe and the USA with the Jesse Redwing band, Jesse has supported such acts as Cedric Burnside, Jon Cleary, Cold Chisel, The Teskey Brothers and Ana Popovic. A track off Jesse’s debut album “Crawlin’ Up the Walls” was featured on hit Netflix show “Shooter” His song ‘Rubberband’ was also featured on a Marshall Headphones commercial and Joe Bonamassa’s Spotify playlist. Jesse’s honest, down-to-earth playing translates well whether he plays solo or with his smokin’ hot band. He is guaranteed to fill your cup with his contemporary take on the timeless soulful sounds of the blues legends.

A Mark Oats and Matty Zarb show is full of dazzling musicianship, laughter and fun. Mark is without a doubt Australia’s most well-loved rapscallion fiddler. He has been a member of the iconic Aussie band the Bushwackers Band for over 23 years, and is a favourite of many, whatever outfit he is playing with. You could search the world 1000 times over and still not find a better match for Mark and his fiddle than Matty. On guitar and vocals, Matty is a highly accomplished musician and performer who loves to entertain audiences with his songs and yarns. Matty also has a colourful history of picking his way around the world performing with his 23 year old Maton. Together, these 2 lads produce a unique sound and vibe that engages, enlivens and entertains audiences. Their sound is an eclectic mix of Celtic, folk and bushgrass music with a feel that only they can produce together. It’s a must see and hear!
Singer/songwriter Phil Davidson was discovered by ABC 702 Drive host Richard Glover after a friendly bet led him to write the autobiographical hit “Belfast Boy.” The song resonated instantly with listeners and earned Phil a record deal with ABC/Universal Music, launching his full-time career. Born in Northern Ireland, Phil is known for his sharp lyrical wit, self-effacing humour, strong Celtic melodies and an Irish gift of the gab. A regular on ABC Radio’s Drive and TGIF, he has toured internationally through Canada, Ireland, Nashville and the UK, including appearances on BBC radio. He has released multiple albums and written for film, theatre and charity. His bushfire fundraiser “Love That Matters” reached No.1 on the Australian Country charts, with proceeds supporting fire-affected families. In 2019 he recorded Out Of The Dark in Nashville with Sam Hawksley, featuring Dan Dugmore (James Taylor/Linda Ronstadt) and Grammy-winner Bonnie Bishop (Bonnie Raitt/Foy Vance). Phil’s music has amassed over 3,000,000 Spotify streams.
