29 May- Zoe Elliot, Pat Capocci, All the Fuss

Rock'n'roll, funky soul, Australiana

Pat Capocci trio

All the Fuss

Zoe Elliot duo

Pat never fails to bring a fresh perspective to the international roots scene. Authentic, yet confident in his own distinct musical identity, Capocci thrills and kills with trademark thunderous guitar, savage rhythms, and a stack of smoking, self-penned songs, an inspired blend of Western swing, country, blues and jazz. No surprise then, that he’s grown to be widely regarded as Australia’s best modern practitioner of rockabilly. In the past 10 years, the prolific performer’s released a handful of adventurous albums on labels including Press-Tone, Wild, Devil Wind and Ruby.
All The Fuss are a Soul and Blues-Funk powerhouse rising from the South Coast, blending smoky vocals, deep-pocket grooves, and electrifying musicianship into a sound that’s as moody as it is magnetic. Fronted by the captivating Priscilla Gauci, whose voice moves effortlessly from velvet-smooth soul to raw blues grit, the band crafts songs that feel both timeless and fresh. On bass, Ged Brindley lays down thick, funk-driven lines that pulse at the heart of every track, locking in seamlessly with the dynamic, groove-heavy drumming of Clinton Bramston. Meanwhile, Callum Burns colours the sound with expressive guitar work — from sharp rhythmic chops to soaring blues-soaked leads. Known for reimagining their setlists, All The Fuss dig deep for obscure gems and breathe new life into them, while also putting their own distinctive spin on a handful of well-loved classics. Nothing is played straight — every song passes through their unmistakable groove, grit, and soul. Together, they create an atmosphere that’s mysterious yet playful, brooding yet bursting with energy. Their live shows are immersive experiences — equal parts late-night soul session and high-energy funk revival — pulling audiences into their world and keeping them there.

“Zoe has a fresh ‘city folk’ sound and particularly relishes lyric crafting, story telling and unique harmonies. Zoe had the pleasure of supporting and playing alongside: Matt Corby, Renee Geyer, Tim Finn, Kim Churchill, Declan O’Rourke, Dragon, Patrick James, Tin Sparrow, Paul Greene… Zoe has released 2 EPs, Precipitate and Black Dog and returned to the studio to release two songs inspired by the 2019-2020 bushfires. She also won Australian Songwriters Conference (ASC) overall prize (2010) and the 2GO Annual Acoustic Awards (2010) and her proudest feat of all – she is now a full time kick ass mum living on the South Coast learning life the hard way.
