Jack Derwin is a dynamic, upfront solo blues artist with originality, delivering rich timbered vocals, resonating guitars, blues harp and stomp box in every power packed performance.
Drawing from the influences of traditional bluesmen, Jack delivers his own original blues with a unique Australian flavor; Blues, Folk and Jazz entwined in the mix.
As quoted by Blue Pie Records –
“Fueled with passion and filled with all styles of instrumentation, you will be blown away with musicality of harmonicas and slide guitar. Jack’s stomp box adds a percussive sense to the album alongside the acoustic guitars which are used as a multi-lingual instrument through the album, a talent which is executed by Jack to the finest degree.”
After completing another successful gig and festival tour of New Zealand in January 2013, Jack returned to Australia with the news his new album COVERED ALL IN BLUE, had debuted at No 2 on the Australian Blues and Roots Charts and remained in the top 5 most played CDs all year.
Covered all in Blue has also been nominated for The Chain Awards, Australia’s exclusive blues awards, for album and song of the year, and best blues vocalist.
The winners announced at the Australian Blues Music Festival on February 8.
Jack has played at Hawkesbury Blues Festival, Jervis Bay Sea Change Festival, Blues on Broadbeach Fest Gold Coast, Australia Day “Country Rocks” Blues
stage at The Rocks, Australian Blues Music Fest Goulburn, Sydney Blues Festival, Blues, Phuket International Blues Rock Festival Thailand, Blenheim Brews & BBQ festival NZ, and Hawkes Bay Blues, Brews & BBQ festival NZ

When you combine three siblings with a love of music, the chemistry is truly magical, Uncle Jed has that family band feel and you can always tell they love making music together.
Uncle Jed started out playing small gigs around Sydney and touring up and down the East Coast of Australia. In 2013 they took the nation by storm with their spine-tingling performances on reality TV show ‘Australia’s Got Talent’. The trio went on to win the competition, giving them a platform to showcase their soulful sound around the country with multiple National tours.
Aside from playing in Uncle Jed together they have all gone on to become established session musicians, accompanying the likes of Jessica Mauboy, Casey Donovan, Keith Urban, Guy Sebastion and The Beautiful Girls.
“It’s been a while since we have played a show together but when Robbie and Steve call and ask us to play Many Fig, the answer is only ever going to be yes! We go way back to 2012 (refer to video) it’s one of our favourite venues to play”

This is VTribe’s 3rd show at The Fig because we love them. This talented family of musicians dreams began as kids enduring long hour practice sessions in their living room under the direction of their father – an acclaimed artist in his own right – who taught them that music would be their way of life.
From humble beginnings playing numerous gigs without pay to opening acts at major international events VTRIBE have come along way with no sign of slowing down.
Bursting onto the social scene in 2005 they quickly set themselves apart from other bands with their unique style and individual sound.
Often affectionately joking that they’re “Bringing their Tongan backyard tunes to the main stage!” they are adored by fans for their down to earth nature and funky style peformances.
VTRIBE’S sound is a specialized blend ROOTS ROCK REGGAE all wrapped up into the one dynamic show!
As special guest to artists for the likes of award winning Fiji, Katchafire, Nesian Mystik, Adeaze, Jboog, Ardijah and Australia’s 2007 Urban Music Award Winner, Red Room they are quickly gaining the entertainment industry recognition that they have worked so hard to achieve.
