“After watching Dee Minor and The Dischords during the 1980’s and seeing this high energy band of musicians perform many times, THEY’RE BACK. I was fortunate to be able to witness & photograph their return to the stage at the Annandale Hotel in Sydney, and they hadn’t lost their appeal one bit, even after 35 years, these guys play and deliver a simply brilliant show” – ABC National Radio
Dee and the boys will hit the road, back to where it all began 35 years ago, playing pubs and clubs showcasing their recent EP Psycho Ward. The band are part of the real resurgence of ‘old skool’ acts filling rooms with authentic “Aussie Pub Rock”. Dee Minor & the band guarantee a theatrical show unlike another, demonstrating why 80’s Pub Rock saw pubs overflowing with die-hard fans.
Dee Minor and the Dischords have delivered Raw Energy to the stage of Australian Pubs and Clubs since 1978. Heavy touring around the country in the early 80′s (with Midnight Oil, Radiators, Cold Chisel, The Angels, Mi Sex, Swanee, Choirboys, Divinyls, INXS, Matt Finish, Mental As Anything, Ice House, Rose Tattoo and others), they brought a totally unique brand of entertainment to the Australian pub scenealong with the release of their first EP in 1982 through RCA Records.
Based in Sydney and headlining their own packed shows from 1981 to 1987, Dee Minor and the
Dischords ripped up stages with their wild brand of surf inspired punk rock and live on stage energy!
After returning to the stage from a ten-year absence they fired back in “The Boys Are Back In Town” shows from 1997 – 1999 and have continued to this day to fire up audiences with no nonsense, working class rock & roll.
