Mitch is quite simply one of the best white soul singers of our time. His keyboard skills are also dazzling. With a career spanning more than 20 years singing and performing he recently won the hearts of millions of people throughout Australia and the rest of the world with his emotionally charged heartfelt performances on the Voice Australia where he was the top finalist on the winning team Seal. Following the Voice journey he has continued to write perform and sellout shows wherever he goes and is currently working on his latest album “SHED MY SKIN”
The Durham Project are a five piece Blues, Soul, Roots outfit based in Sydney Australia. The band have released an EP (The DP EP) and an acoustic album (In Acoustic Mode – got to No 3 in both the Australia Blues Charts and the AMRAP Charts), and have a track (Shame) for the Big Rock Records 40th anniversary album. Their second album “Eclectic Electric” was released in September 22 and rose to No 3 on the Australian Blues charts. It was voted as the 3rd best blues album of 2022 by Severn FM in England and received worldwide airplay on many international blues programs. Their third (live) album “Kitchen Koncert “was released in 2025 and again received wide acclaim. The lads are currently performing around Sydney and writing songs for a new album. The Durham Project is signed to Big Rock Records and are on all streaming platforms via Laneway Music.
James was half of the duo, Crash Symphony, which formed in 2002, signed a publishing deal in 2004, released its first album ’My Girlfriend the Assassin’ in 2005, and launched their second album ’Crash Symphony Live at The Basement’ in 2006. They featured on TV shows such as Mcleod’s Daughters, Bondi Rescue, Scout TV, and signed a distribution deal in the UK. Their music is available on over 60 different online stores including iTunes. James has since started Crash Symphony Productions, a boutique recording studio and production house. He also specializes in film and television music. In 2012 James released an iPhone App called “Audio Engineer”, which has enjoyed instant success being the world’s first app textbook for audio engineers, producers and musicians. James’ days are filled making albums for his clients. He also plays music in hospitals all over Sydney, whilst at night he performs at weddings, cooperate functions, pubs and clubs. He has a smooth tenor vocal tone that is often compared to Sting and can play anything from Lounge Jazz, Standards, to Pub rock, as well as an eclectic mix of contemporary hits.
