Son of an ex jazz trumpeter dentist who ditched geology to fail at jazz college to take up washboard to join The Waifs over a Port Fairy Guinness who fell in love with a 1935 Gibson guitar while touring the USA with Bob Dylan to writing songs and riffing stories to anyone who cared to listen.
A tunesmith, guitarist, songwriter and teller of tall tales from the road less travelled but long toured, David is an acoustic amalgam part late 60’s English folk and part late 70’s Brit punk pop derived who lives off-grid between Australia and Canada and is hopeless at social media.
