Now in their 12th year together as a band, their dynamic live sets are packed with irresistible energy, musical flair and party vibes.\n\n“Midnight Tea Party dance through an infectious concoction of rock, gypsy and dub to craft a sound that belongs entirely to themselves.\u201d <\/em>Happy Mag\n\nSince the release of their album \u201cMassilia<\/em>\u201d in 2018 Midnight Tea Party have played festivals such as Woodford Folk Festival, Bellingen Winter Music and Gumball as well as touring up and down the east coast of Australia.\n\nThe quintet released their third EP \u201cElectro Bazaar”<\/em> in early 2023. \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t Timothy James Bowen is a singer-songwriter with an unforgettable voice and a formidable story to tell. He writes of young and enduring love, his near-death experiences and his exploration of the world around him.\n \nTimothy began his musical career at the age of 10, training with and eventually leading St. Mary\u2019s Cathedral Choir. Having followed his sister, Clare Bowen, to Nashville, he found a dedicated and inspirational community of artists and writers. \n \nTimothy has toured internationally, written songs for US and Australian TV series and penned campaign songs for Virgin Mobile Australia and Cancer Council NSW. Bowen was nominated for Live Voice of the Year at the 2018 National Live Music Awards, has made multiple appearances at the Grand Ole Opry (USA), performed several times for Channel 9\u2019s Carol\u2019s by Candlelight and following his personal battle with Stage 4 Lymphoma in 2015, he became a Cancer Council Ambassador and was awarded Cancer Council NSW High Profile Ambassador of the Year in 2019. In 2020, he appeared in the Top 8 of The Voice Australia.
